Maria Zuniga, 87, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mateo Zuniga.
She is survived by her children, Mateo Zuniga Jr., Susana Z. Cavazos, Carlos Zuniga, Gustavo Zuniga, and Lazaro Zuniga; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dionicia Gonzalez.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary on Friday, December 16, 2022 at De Leon Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30am on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
