Obituary
Maria Dolores De La Cerda, 98, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Legends Transitional Care Center in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan De La Cerda; and sons, Rodolfo De La Cerda, Juan Jose De La Cerda, and Rene De La Cerda.
Ms. De La Cerda is survived by her children, Reynaldo De La Cerda, Evangelina Galindo, Joel De La Cerda, Ninfa Ramirez, Nelva Gaona, Jaime De La Cerda, and Francisco De La Cerda; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at De Leon Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 2pm on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr under the direction of De Leon Funeral Home of Pharr.
