Manuel Gomez Gomez, 84, went to be with the Lord at his residence on Thursday, May 23, 2024, surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ernesto Moncerat Gomez; parents, Elisa and Ernesto Gomez; sister, Maria Luisa Gomez; grandparents, Eulalia Ramirez and Julian Gomez; and first wife, Maria De la Luz Rodriguez.

Mr. Gomez is survived by his wife, Norma G. Gomez; children, Julian Gomez, Jose Manuel Gomez, Carlos Alberto (Erika) Gomez, Norma G. (Robert) Spinner, Leonardo (Sari) Gomez, and Americo Martin (Nancy) Gomez; siblings, Roberto Reyes Gomez, Juana Reyes Gomez, Flora Reyes Gomez, Carlos Reyes Gomez, Jose Guadalupe Gomez, Marciano Gomez, Pantaleon Gomez, Maximina Gomez, Maria Del Carmen Gomez, and Joel Gomez; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Templo Rayos Deluz, 520 N. Erica St., Pharr, Texas 78577. Cremation services will follow.

Manuel Gómez Gómez, de 84 años, acudió a estar con el Señor en su residencia el Jueves 23 de Mayo de 2024, rodeado de su familia.

Le precedieron en la muerte su hijo, Ernesto Moncerat Gómez; padres, Elisa y Ernesto Gómez; hermana, María Luisa Gómez; abuelos, Eulalia Ramírez y Julián Gómez; y primera esposa, María De la Luz Rodríguez.

Al Sr. Gómez le sobreviven su esposa, Norma G. Gómez; hijos, Julián Gómez, José Manuel Gómez, Carlos Alberto (Erika) Gómez, Norma G. (Robert) Spinner, Leonardo (Sari) Gómez y Américo Martín (Nancy) Gómez; hermanos, Roberto Reyes Gómez, Juana Reyes Gómez, Flora Reyes Gómez, Carlos Reyes Gómez, José Guadalupe Gómez, Marciano Gómez, Pantaleón Gómez, Maximina Gómez, María Del Carmen Gómez y Joel Gómez; 14 nietos; y 1 bisnieto. 

Se llevará a cabo el funeral a la 1 p.m. el Domingo 26 de Mayo de 2024 en el Templo Rayos Deluz, 520 N. Erica St., Pharr, Texas 78577. Seguirán los servicios de cremación.
