Juan Barrientes, 74, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at McAllen Medical Center.

Mr. Barrientes is survived by his wife Irene Barrientes; children, Yvette Barrientes, Hilda Ann Salinas (Jorge Arnoldo), John Barrientes (Sarah Idali), and Isaac Joe Barrientes (Joe Sturgeon); grandchildren, Joe Daniel, Jeremy Matthew, Jade Justine, Emil Nevaeh, Alicen Rose, Quentin John, and Mirko Arnold; 5 sisters; and 4 brothers.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at De Leon Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pharr. Cremation will follow.
