Jose R Guerra

 Jose R. Guerra, 97, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his residence in Alamo. He is preceded in death by his wife, Santiaga Guerra; son, Jesse Guerra; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

 He is survived by his wife, Herlinda Perez de Guerra; children, Joe (Sherri) Guerra, Pete Guerra, Mary (Robert) Cuevas, Abelia Hernandez, Wanda Monterroso, Aggie (Jesse) Perez, Ephrain (Nancy) Guerra, Richie Guerra, Raymond (Tammy) Guerra; 22 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

 Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 5pm prayer service on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at De Leon Funeral Home of Pharr. A chapel service will be held at 10am on Friday, February 17, 2023 at De Leon Funeral Home of Pharr. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery.

 Pallbearers will be Joe Guerra, Pete Guerra, Javier Cuevas, Brent Guerra, Emigdio Perez, and Carlos Perez.
