Jorge Lara, 68, went to celebrate life in heaven on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Jorge is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cabrera Lara; children, Erica Lara Flurry, Veronica Lara, Melissa Lara Trevino, Jorge Lara II., Jamey Lara, and Juan T. Lara; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Maria Del Carmen Lara; and brothers, Joel Lara and Javier Lara.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4pm to 9pm with a 6pm rosary at De Leon Funeral Home. Cremation services will follow.
