Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Isabel Alvarez, who passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Oct 21, 2022.
Isabel is survived by her husband Eugenio Alvarez, brother Guadalupe Salinas Jr, and her children, (Anna Lisa Roper) of Pharr, Tx, (Alesia) & Steven Smith of Austin, Tx., (Elda Lina) & Thomas Murphy of Georgetown Tx., (Juan Eugenio "Johnny") & Vicky Alvarez of McAllen, Tx, (Javier) & Rachel Alvarez of Sharyland, Tx, (Antonio "Tony") & Alma Alvarez of Pharr, Tx, Veronica Lee Alvarez of New York City, Patricia Vydette Alvarez of Pharr TX. Her grandchildren, Jerry Lee Perez Jr., Laura lee Mabry, Justin Warren, Angel Alejandro Alvarez, Michael Alvarez, Amanda, Jennifer Alvarez, Christian Alvarez, Samantha, Valeria, Ricky Alvarez, Isabel Alvarez, Gabby, Brianna, Anna, Sara, Jonathon Rubio and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm with a 7pm rosary on Monday, October 25, 2022 at De Leon Funeral Home of Pharr. Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at St. Annes Mother of Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
