Guadalupe Vecchio Soto, 77, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at residence in Pharr. She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Soto Jr, grandson Isis Garza, her mother, Beatriz Garza-Vecchio, her father, Rogelio Vecchio, two sisters Hermerejilda Perez, Maria de Jesus Vecchio.
Ms. Vecchio-Soto hobbies was crocheting blankets, hand towels, and dollies, and love to spend her free time in her garden Ms. Vecchio-Soto, is survived by her five children, Serafina (Arnulfo) Garza of Edinburg, Patricia (Arturo) Ramirez of Alamo, Daniel (Michelle) Soto of San Juan, Aaron Soto, Cecilia Soto, of Pharr, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Three sisters Maria Sulema De la Rosa, Beatriz Solis, Herminia Vecchio, all from Pharr, three brothers Rogelio Vecchio, Raul Vecchio, both of Pharr, Enrique Vecchio of Austin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm rosary at De Leon Funeral Home in Pharr. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 11:00am at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Arturo Ramirez III, Austin Daniel Ramirez, Miguel Angel Ramirez, Daniel Soto IV, Jonathan Hernandez, great grandson Michael Isaiah Hernandez, nephews Jose (Jo-Jo) De la Rosa, Dominic Alfredo Solis, Freddy Ibarra, Robert Villarreal, Honorary pallbearer’s granddaughters Kathy Marie Ramirez, Valerie Nicole Soto, Clarissa Marie Soto, Denise Danielle Soto.
Funeral services are under the direction of De Leon Funeral Home in Pharr.
