Ernestina Rodea, 88, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her residence. She is preceded in death by her son, Ernesto Rodea; parents, Cipriano & Cecilia Martinez; and several siblings.
Ms. Rodea is survived by her children, Isabel (Lydia) Rodea, Veronica (San Juan) Ramos, and Juan Jesus (Daniella) Rodea; grandchildren, Sophie Rodea, Christina Rodea, Ernesto Rodea, Alexandra Rodea, Joseph Rodea, Gabriella Rodea, Graciella Rodea, and Javier Rodea; sister, Laura Guerra; and brother, Ramiro Martinez.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at De Leon Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.
