Celia Villarreal, 84, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Villarreal; and son, Roman Villarreal.
Ms. Villarreal is survived by her children, Enedelia (Carlos) Blanco, Jose Guadalupe (Noemi) Villarreal, Estevan (Elsa Veronica) Villarreal, and Maria Sylvia Sosa; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm with a 6pm prayer service on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at De Leon Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Monday, February 16, 2026 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.
