Aurora Castillo, 77, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Castillo; sons, Domingo Castillo and Christopher Castillo; and granddaughters, Samaria Cerda and Ivylynn Castillo.

Ms. Castillo is survived by her children, San Juanita (Ramiro) Fuentes, Sandra (Jack) Zimmerman, Pedro Castillo Jr., Melissa (Philip Anthony) Belton, Richard (Rosalinda) Castillo; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be held from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at De Leon Funeral Home. On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, visitation will begin at 10am and a chapel service will start at 2pm. Burial will follow at 3pm at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr
