Asiel Alejandro Chavez, 41, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Asiel is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lopez; son, Asiel Emmauel Chavez; parents, Maria Alicia and Ruben Nabejas; and brother, Jose Carlos Nabejas.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service on Friday, February 7, 2025, at De Leon Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at De Leon Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Magic Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
