Eugenio Alvarez Obituary

Eugenio Alvarez, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. He is preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Alvarez.

Mr. Alvarez is survived by his children, Anna Roper, Alesia Smith, Mauro Alvarez, Elda Murphy, Juan Eugenio Alvarez, Javier Alvarez, Antonio Alvarez, Veronica Alvarez, and Patricia Alvarez; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 9pm with a 7pm rosary on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at De Leon Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
